Hi Spring Rogainers!
We're really excited to welcome you to 2023 Port Hills Spring Rogaine!
We've put out a large course of controls from which we think will provide lots of fun and achievable options for all – novice to advanced. All the information you need is in the attached documents. Please read it carefully and please forward this email to all of your team mates if their email was not given with the entry.
The team list contains your team number (same as your entry number) which you need to fill into the attached indemnity form and hand in at registration.

Please be aware of the following points from the information:
- Parking: There will be no competitor parking at the Victoria Park playground car park. We have been asked by the CCC to leave this parking available for playground users on the day. Consider car-pooling, biking or parking down the road a little.
- Start times: 6hr : 10am, 3hr: 12 noon. Maps available at least 1 hour before.
- No Dogs!: Lots of pregnant sheep and newborn lambs currently in the Port Hills, so no dogs please (not even on a lead).
- 6 hour participants - bring a mug for soup: Remember to bring a mug to have your delicious soup in (6hr race)!
- All of the safety information: particularly that all roads are open and being aware that you will be traversing terrain that will be rough and slippery in places
- Coaching guides available for planning: for those new to rogaining we will have coaches available to help you plan and even run through the first 2-3 checkpoints. Let us know if you need help on the day. Come early if you want this help.
See you on Sunday!
Steve and Alan
